Normally I'm ok using the app to contact customer service, but not when I have an issue that requires immediate assistance. Not offering a phone support line is cheap, unethical, and very lazy on Uber's part (there is a number if you search the net wide... and I mean wide, but it's an answering service that instructs you to use the app then hangs up on you). Email - no reply also. Crucial components of my order were missing. Not sure if I'll be getting a refund, hours later still waiting to hear back from their not so helpful app "support". Very UNenjoyable meals, lacking the very thing that makes them, and no way to get help on the spot when I needed it. Instead, left to source food elsewhere or eat substandard, full-priced meals, whilst feeling ripped off without suitable recourse.

I have had 2 shocking experiences with Home Adviser. I tried to leave negative reviews detailing my experience. I've had no issues posting positive reviews in the past, for services I have hired through the site. They will not allow me to leave a negative review, they allow positive reviews only. Will never use their site again, knowing the review system is rigged. Their positive site reviews certainly influenced me to hire these particular contractors. This is unethical, deceptive behavior. The plumbers I hired for a $6500 job demanded payment prior to job completion, hounded me daily and refused to complete the job until full payment was made. Once payment was made, they left without completing the job. I hired them in the past for small jobs without issues and left several 5 star reviews for this company, who I realize were buttering me up for a large job. I never obtained the camera proof that there was even an issue, as promised by the contractor, who refuses to answer his phone since being paid. Can't even remove the positive reviews I left for this company previously. This is the base of my brand new toilet! I'd post a video if I could, to demonstrate how the toilet bounces up and down. This is not to mention the shady floor contractors they sent my way. Will never use Home Adviser again. They have cost me thousands and still refuse to publish my honest negative reviews, only the positive reviews. Oh, and avoid L&B Plumbing and ALD flooring, both based in Nashville TN. Neither of these Home Adviser approved companies will honor their word once they have your money.

Where to start? Four hours and sixteen minutes on the phone to Air BnB customer service (officially logged in my phone), multiple emails back and forth (also officially logged), multiple tickets issued and three different case managers assigned (all for one issue that should never have become so complex), walking away having lost money as the paying customer buying the lifestyle Air BnB sold me... and at the end of all that, no solution! My accommodation was canceled on me last minute and that's what I got. Non existent customer service. To top it off, no way to escalate the issue to a higher level. Hands tied.

I'm also an Air BnB Super Host with a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, I've had nothing but issues with this company as both host and guest. Looking to divorce this company ASAP. Terrible business practices, heavily reliant on a computer system that is ridden with bugs. To top it off, incompetent staff who are unable to operate the bug ridden system and prefer to take the easy road, get you off the phone as quickly as possible. Of course, there's the exception of a few kind souls who try to clean up the mistakes of their comrades, but still fail (I suspect their hands are tied too). Company is an internal shambles. CEO clearly doesn't care much for the longevity of this business. I would steer clear!

I ordered a pair of boots in red. I waited about 2 weeks for delivery. When they finally arrived, I discovered Shepler's had sent me blue instead of red. I contacted them. No apology from Shepler's, they just told me told me I would have to do an exchange and wait 2-3 weeks after they received the return package for them to process my exchange. They did not offer me free postage, however, I requested this given it was not my fault. I returned the boots using their label, the slowest shipping method, as it took at least 2 weeks before the boots even reached their warehouse. I then got an email saying boots had been received and my case was being processed. I waited another 2 weeks without any word from Sheplers. I then called them to check on my case and they told me they had processed a refund instead as the boots (which I had bought at their sale price) were discontinued and out of stock. These boots had been available via Ebay & Amazon when I ordered from Sheplers for about $10 more than the Shepler's sale price. They are no longer available at any of these retailers.

Everybody I dealt with or spoke to at Sheplers was either rude or plain unhelpful. I wasted around 6-8 weeks and my energy on this case, only to get to this result. Customer service did not even offer me a gift card or something as a good gesture. I will never buy from Sheplers ever again. Very, very poor customer service.
