The only thing I was able to recover with this software from my lost photos was the photo thumbnails. I asked FonePaw for help and they requested some additional information to solve the issue. After some time, I asked what the situation was and I received the following response (30.4.

They are still working on it, and please don't worry, if the issue still can't be fixed in 30 days, they will proceed the refund.

After passing the 30 days, I have asked multiple times what the situation is and I never received any response. I was shocked at how unprofessional a company this is.
