“Hostgator chat support is terrible”

I started live chat on hostgator, first waited for one hour for chat to start, then support guy is not replying for half an hour. Terrible experience, avoid them.

These people care about their designers, but you must be aware that their business model is contest for design. So you can be best in the world, if customer don't like your design you will end up with 0 profit and wasted time, but they have a system of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and participation payments, so after all you can get some money for invested time.

“They took my money.”

I did work for employer and received money. Now one week later freelancer.com locked money in my account and I cannot take it because of some issue they have with employer. Their support cannot tell me what is the issue, now hours and hours of work gone and money also gone.
