When I moved to europe I paid up the last 3 months of my lease and turned off ac, lights and everything! I turned in keys to the apartments and left to live in europe. I called reliant in texas telling them to stop service a month before leaving. They left it on and later said they could not shut it without several months notice! I was not under contract just paid monthly with them. I never was late etc! I paid 350.00 for 3 months from my american bank account and in returning the states 10 years later they never showed it paid so I paid over 1000 again to them. They confirmed it was paid and shows with them on the phone this time and sadly used them again but they turned it into collections saying it was not paid and when I asked them to fix that and tell them I paid it AGAIN AND AGAIN. They said I had to deal with the american scam collection company since their american scam electric company was too stupid and lazy.
I had to send in my bank statements showing it was paid again to this company. What in the world is wrong with all these companies and people out here in the states It is hard enough to live in such violent evil places without being always ripped off!

At the time I took the greyhound to Coldspring *Livingston Texas* there was a day layover in Shreveport LA so I booked a room on Hotels.com for Sams Town Casino Hotel. When I got there they booked for the next night and I had no way to change it to the proper night. I paid the hotel room and could not get ahold of Hotels.com to get my refund. Never got the money back again wasted money on american things. Shame on them. I wish there was something like the EU in the usa you really need it here
