The universal bra system didn't quite work out for me. I love it, it's a great thing, but I'm a 38G in cacique bras & every single 38D5 bra I tried was at least a cup size too small. I'm not a huge fan of lane bryant as a company anymore so I'm hoping I'll be able to find bras that work here. I do miss that they tend to have more hooks on their bras than most of the brands you sell. A tiny band is the worst possible thing with a large bust unless you like back & shoulder pain.

I love the details & hints for items.
A little frustrated that my searches time out if I'm busy for a few. I can't sit down & shop uninterrupted & I hate having to start over.

So far, mostly so good.

I love their bras. They make some of the best bras for women over a 36c that I've found to date. They aren't uniformly great, but they're good enough often enough that I don't mind ordering online & returning to the store if necessary though, I hate that they don't have the same options & prices in the store in the first place. It would simplify things if I could jsut try on & buy in the store.

They tend to use wider bands, and cover more of the back than many other brands, which is useful if you're a larger woman. I do wish more of their bras covered more of the underarm area however.

As for the rest of their clothing, it's all very meh. Cheap polyester fabrics more often than not, often poorly sewn & poorly sized. Even within the brand, I've fit a 20 in one outfit & a 16 in another in the past (at a time when I was a 22 in any other brand). Blame vanity sizing but when it's that inconsistent & they're pushing for more & more online sales, it makes it awful hard to order & not have to deal with a hassle ever.

Their clothing is largely shapeless. I'm big, I'm not a blob. I'm still a woman, I still have curves, I'd still like to look like a person & not a snowman in a tent. LB seems to have assumed that what women want is to hide their bodies in unflattering, weird boxy cuts that make me feel like I'm wearing a tent designed in 1980.

I no longer buy anything here other than their bras.

So very confused by the negative comments. I don't get it.

I've been ordering from eshakti for about 3-4 years now. Most of the clothing I wear comes from them at this point & I almost never leave the house in one of their dressed without getting stopped repeatedly & complimented. The maximum, was 6people in one day of errands stopping to compliment my dress & ask where I got it! I've never experienced anything like it!

I've had amazing customer service experiences from them. Any time I've had any issue at all they've fixed it or refunded my money. Returns are easy, they send a pre-paid label right with the product, all you have to do is go online & tell them why you're returning, slap the printed authorization into the box the clothes came in. Slap the pre-paid return label on the box & pop it by the post office or get it picked up. I really can't think of any way that could be an easier process. I've never had any trouble getting my money back, though, I do usually get store credit so I can re-order something else.

The quality of the clothing I've received has always been good. The sewing beautiful. The hook & eye at the top of the zipper is the only thing I've had issue with coming loose. Everything else is cut & sewn beautifully. The dresses I bought 3-4 years ago are still in great shape. I've lost 70lbs since then & gotten rid of most of my clothing in those sizes but I'm having trouble letting go of my eshakti dresses!

I had one woman at a store once, who clearly liked to sew, stop me & try to figure out how to deconstruct my dress, she obviously wanted to make something like it & she was impressed with how well it was made.

I LOVE that I can can customize what I get. The way I'm built I prefer sleeveless dresses & tops & I can make that happen with eshakti. I also find that because I have broad shoulders things with a V neck are more flattering than square or rounded necklines. No more turning down a dress because I'm afraid the neckline will make me look boxy.

I love the quality of the fabric they use, especially the cotton poplin. Breathable good quality cotton that lasts!

Eshakti has given me the ability to dress in a way that is both comfortable & flattering on my body on a daily basis. It's changed the way I get dressed in the morning & the way I feel going about my day. I have never felt better about buying clothing from any other store in my life. I'm sorry if this seems over the top but I mean every single word & I'm just astonished by some of the bad reviews!

I tell everyone about eshakti. I carry business cards they've sent (until I run out) to give the people who stop to compliment me.
(forgive any typos, I'm dysgraphic)
