I noticed that eShakti does not allow customers to review their Facebook page - Customers, BEWARE OF THIS PRACTICE. As a social media manager, I can tell you it is a very clear sign the company would have many negative reviews. Including one from me. Here is my eShakti experience. I will be screen capturing this post as well, as I suspect the company also practices removing negative comments (another thing you should beware of before buying)...
I made my first purchase with eShakti about a month ago. I paid the extra fee to have the dress made to my specific height at the "above the knee" length.To ensure it was indeed correct, I even subtracted an inch from my overall height. As you can see in the photo, the garment was not only made incorrectly, but incredibly wrinkled from poor packaging.
I then sent an email to their customer service department explaining that I would like a FULL refund, as their refund page on the website said that the customizing fee will not be refunded. Despite doing my due diligence, I was sent back an automatic reply directing me to that same webpage.
I waited multiple days for an email response from an actual eShakti representative and never received one. So, I called their customer service number and spoke with "Dominique." She assured me I would "hear back from Amy by Dec. 8." That day obviously came and went with no reply. I then called again on Dec. 12. The representative was valley girl snotty, and never even provided her name. It said the call was recorded, and I hope it was because she needs to be fired! I was told by her that "Dominique should've never said when I would hear back from Amy. But she then went on to explain, I should hear back from Amy in the next 24 hours." Shocker, I never did.
I was also told to return the dress and that they have a note in the system that I would receive a full refund. I of course do not have this in writing - as I am still waiting on that glorious email from this "Amy" person. So, I am returning the dress, and let me be clear - I AM getting a full refund.
Great service eShakti. You're literally one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. BUYER BEWARD. In fact, do yourself a favor... DON'T BUY!
