  • The Hut

Can't imagine how anyone could have a good experience with them. Ordered one product and it never got to me. Sent a complaint saying that it had not reached me, and after a week or two, they got back to me to say they were going to send out another. That one didn't get to me either, so after more messing around with customer 'service', finally got a refund after a couple of months. Avoid!

  • SeatWave

4/4/11

Decent interface masks an absolutely miserable company, where the only people who come out of any transaction happy are seatwave. If you're looking to buy tickets, you'll see that any reasonably priced tickets are almost non-existent, whereas if you're a legitimate ticket seller just looking to offload some extra tickets you don't need, you'll have to charge a ridiculous overhead to make the face price back (because of seatwave's fees). Stick to eBay!

  • HotUKDeals

3/16/11

How much you like hotukdeals will most likely depend on what you're into, BUT if you're a gamer or DVD buyer in the UK that's after a bargain, it's definitely worth bookmarking!

Only used it as a buyer, but not impressed. Prices are good and delivery is free but it can take AGES for anything to arrive, and customer service is almost non-existent!

  • Cokezone.co.uk

3/4/11

Found Coke Zone really frustrating to deal with at times - it doesn't always acknowledge the code when you enter it, and then it takes ages for a customer service person to respond to you and help sort it out (and in my case, the experience was drawn out for a couple of months because they seemed to refuse to think my problem was legitimate!)

It's a decent enough idea for a rewards / loyalty scheme but the execution isn't great. Why spend all the time promoting it if you can't back it up with solid customer service?

Really cool idea - will be interesting to see if it takes off, but the examples of how it integrates with streetview are fascinating.

  • MediaFire

4/4/11

I've used mediafire for a while now and never had a bad experience, both as a free and paid user. Really easy to use and quick upload and download speeds.

  • Global Travel Market

3/4/11

The flight comparison search engine on globatravelmarket.co.uk is faster and easier to use than a few I've seen, though it's still got a few flaws - it's a bit of an effort to switch which day you want to search for flights and there have been a couple of times when the deals shown aren't there when you click through to the site (or they're only available for very specific and inconvenient times) but it's still been the site I've relied on for finding good flight deals over the past couple of years.

  • tastecard

I got a free trial to TasteCard and have gotten a lot of use out of it, mostly thanks to how handy the website/ iPhone app is at making it easy to find participating restaurants.

Only addition I might like if there was a way to get alerts for when new restaurants are added, but still really good.
