As someone who got ripped off on one of these sites, don't trust them. I didn't win anything. I know of others who thought they won something, but they never received the item. These sites cannot be trusted. You don't know that other people are bidding. You don't know anyone is winning. They are just stealing your money.
These penny auctions are complete scams. No one wins on these sites. They just take your money and run for it. The items probably don't even exist. Keep clear. If you want to safely bid on items use ebay. These supposedly "amazing deals" just don't exist.
What's up with all of these penny auction sites popping up everywhere? I lost over 100 dollars on one of these sites. They are all just a scam. I don't think anyone is really bidding against you, and if they are, they are not winning anything either. I don't know if it is even possible to win an item. They just take your money, and create a pretty show. At least gambling in Vegas, there are some odds that you might win.
I was ripped off by one of these penny auction sites. They are complete scams. You spend money to bid on an item, and you don't even know whether other people are really bidding. Who knows if the items actually exist, and are going to be sent to you? I know I didn't win anything. Ebay is the only legitimate company I know of. These penny auctions are just a scam, don't expect to actually win an item.
