Pretty good website building site. I used it for a project with a friend and it got the job done.

Review: Tom Hess has done it again with a great music instruction site! I first found Tom through his guitar lessons, and after I got a bunch out of them he convinced me to work on putting together a more organized practice schedule. After I signed up for the guitar practice generator, I immediately started putting my routine together...which was pretty fun in and of itself, but its been about a month and have really noticed some better results! It really helps to have everything organized for me and not have to worry about keeping track through note books or text files on my computer. Check this out if you are looking to become more efficient with managing your guitar practice.

I found this to be a very interesting site based entirely on ambient and downtempo music...I have liked these kinds of music for a long time, and I never would have imagined that someone would taken the time to create a site based around them. Really cool if you are into this kind of thing :)

This site rocks. I have been using it to find metal bands of all genres since it first came out many years ago. The site navigation is very intuitive and it is fun to look through bands and research new music. Great site!

Before visiting Tom Hess's website I had been playing guitar for about 5 years. I started off playing classic guitar tunes by Metallica, ACDC and other bands before I began getting into more technical lead guitar work. After a while I reached a barrier in my playing and began exploring different ways to get better. At first I merely looked around online at videos and free tabs, but then I made the decision to find a teacher.

After looking around at the different teaching sites online I came across Tom's site and I was blown away by all the great articles and guitar playing resources he has. After looking around at his free stuff I decided to dive in and try lessons. This decision turned out to be a truly great step forward for my guitar playing. I was surprised by how quickly Tom showed me what was wrong in my learning approaches...it only took me a short while before I not only could play lead guitar like I wanted, but I could play things I never knew were possible. In fact, I still take lessons with Tom right now.

Couldn't recommend this site any higher!
