"Looking for a jaw-drop? Scroll through the last few years of his reviews and be astonished at how inappropriately the owner treats his customers who have had bad experiences or criticisms. He labels them, condescendingly: drunks, stupid, ignorant, poor, confused, hicks, abnormal, pains in the ass, racists, unqualified, etc. You'll also notice that it is frequently mentioned that the food isn't as gourmet as promised (soggy, bland, cold, etc.), the staff are inattentive (gossiping, slow, etc.), and the food is overpriced.
He thinks very highly of himself and very lowly of others, especially those from outside of Carmel. It doesn't matter how good the pizza is or is not, it's not worth a person's dignity. Don't be surprised when the overall restaurant rating goes down or when you find a closed sign on the door.
As you can see, his response to us only adds credibility to our first review and reinforces that our decision not to dine at his establishment was correct."
