I paid $1150 for tickets through Flighthub before anything to do with COVID was announced in Canada, or it was any kind of public knowledge. The tickets were for mid-July with Air Canada, so this was months ago at this point, and Flighthub will not let us see a dime back without docking $40 for criminally mis-advertized "cancellation insurance" that was apparently only good for cancelling within a day of booking the tickets, and $70 for "handling fees."
We cannot physically go on this trip without a government mandated 14 day isolation period upon landing at out destination and again upon return. 14 days is longer than the entire trip! And still all they will do is dock 10% of the ticket cost for a "Future Travel Voucher," and yet they insist we are "good to travel." Absolutely criminal.
When I called the help line, which took me 2 hours to find because it is nowhere on the website and the number Google gives you loads a completely different number into your phone when you click on it that takes you to a robo-voice flight status checker rather than anywhere useful, I was told after an hour wait to go to hell in the most canned, corporate way possible and that there was no one else I could speak to about even getting a full credit. That the managers "were not taking ANY calls" regarding refunds or dissatisfied customers.
-5/10 never use Flighthub unless your hobbies include lighting hundred dollar bills on fire.
