“Don't buy a Kestrel road bike”

I purchases a Kestrel RT 1000 from Bikes Direct. I babied this thing. It developed a crack in the top tube. BD sent me to Kestrel. Kestrel blamed me and denied a warranty claim. They tried to get me to purchase a crash replacement. Stick with the big four brands that will back their frames. The Kestrel Warranty is a sham. I could not find anyone on the web where Kestrel honored their warranty. DON'T BUY A KESTREL--THE WARRANTY IS A SHAM
