Found a very cool product in my search for hearing aids.
It's called SportEAR. It's the ultimate hearing aid for the outdoorsman.
It allows you to hear better while automatically protecting your ears from gunfire or other loud noises. Great for outdoor hobbies as well as working around loud noises.
I wish I'd had that 30 years ago before I damaged my hearing from too much shooting.
I ended up going with a Clearflex product that I have been thrilled with, but SportEAR was a great site and cool technology.

Learned of it from David Meerman Scott's book on The New Rules of Marketing and PR. Excellent book also. The book and the site combine for a powerful force in marketing in today's world. I have had my Clearflex hearing aids for over 3 months now and couldn't be happier. I received them and had them programmed and was hearing better within 30 minutes of receiving them. I have only had to adjust them twice since then. Each time took less than 5 minutes. The app is so simple. I love it. What I have been doing is wearing them more and more, and adjusting to this new world. I like it when I am in a negotiation with a soft spoken client, to just tap that button and BOOM, I can hear a watch ticking. That is cool! Unlike most people, I am going to be programming for selling situations, rather than life situations. Again, that is very cool! I am very glad I chose Clearflex, for just that reason.
