On Thursday 5 February my daughter was taken to dinner at the Atrium Buffet at the The Crown Metropol for her 18th birthday celebration. Within an hour of eating the Thai snapper (which she said didn't taste quite right), she became violently ill and suffered vomiting and diarrhoea that night and up till 8am Friday morning. I took her to the Emergency Medical Centre in Morley and she was given an anti-nausea injection and tablets. Up until yesterday evening she was still feeling unwell and had a temperature and stiff joints. Naturally she was very upset, especially as the meal cost her boyfriend $148, and what should have been an enjoyable evening, turned out to be very costly and unpleasant in the end.
