First and last time shopping on Vestiaire after having done hundreds of transactions on eBay and The Real Real with both buying and selling clothing. I ordered a total of 6 items from Vestiaire that were all listed as New With Tags. Of the 6,2 pairs of pants arrived defective with faded lines across various parts of the legs. Even though the pants had defects since they had tags Vestiaire considers them new with tags. The third item was a coat that was comically oversized vs the measurements provided in the listing because the seller listed a measurement backwards! The difference between 56cm and 65cm is huge, but not to Vestiaire. I contacted Vestiaire immediately after receiving the defective items and was asked to open a dispute and provide photo evidence which I did and then sent back to them for review. After their review I was given a refund on only one of the defective pants and was told the other matched the description. Bear in mind the description was New With Tags, NOT new with DEFECTS. In the picture I've attached you can see the faded line through the leg, that is good enough for new at Vestiaire. For the jacket that was ridiculously oversized I was told it also matched the description. In my tickets I went back and forth with Vestiaire support over 10 times showing them pictures of the damage to the pants and the discrepancy in size on the other. They refused to budge on their position and would not take the items back. I ended up opening a dispute with my credit card company over these transactions and Vestiaire told them I had never contacted them. They flat out lied to my credit card company. I literally have an 18 email chain between me and Vestiaire that I'll now have to re-open my case on to submit. As a buyer of clothes I would steer clear of this company at all costs. Their authentication process is absolutely useless and just serves to make them more money per transaction. Dealing with support is painful and replies are slow. Probably because all of their support reps have to spend their time chiming in on the many bad reviews they get as a company. I'm sure one will pop up here about how I should contact them. I did contact you, I have 18 emails between us, it was useless, there are far more secure platforms for clothing buyers and I won't be coming back. I hope others can learn from my mistakes.
