Your charge for extra packing and shipping seemed high to me
The frame was wood, not plastic
I purchased shoes from this company and the shoes were way too small. They would only give me 40% of the purchase price if I returned the shoes, plus I had to pay for shipping. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company as they could care less about satisfying their customers. Here is their version of a size 11 shoe (in blue) and another pair of size 11 shoes

Was able to quickly find what I wanted, both in standard and custom sizes.
