If you have your own webpage or blog and like to show which causes you support, you should definitely check out Cause Ribbon. Choose a theme, select a ribbon and copy/paste the code into your webpage. It's very simple and voila, you'll have a ribbon that is being displayed in the right corner of your webpage.
I write an eco blog and chose ribbons like "Go Green", "Save The Oceans" and "Say No To GMO" but you can find many more like: "No To Censorship", "No To Racism" or "Occupy Wall Street". You can select as many as you like and they will show up in a random order every time a page is loaded. It's for free too! Loving everything about this idea!!

Since I am a food-lover who likes to try out new places, this is just what I needed! A site where people can post a picture of good food they had (including the adress and place). It is not about the restaurants though, just about the dish. What a great idea! For the ones who have an I-Phone, you just take the pic of your food and send it right away to your profile. And now others can get their apetite going. I think this is a fun idea.

This is one of my new favorite sites! It is a bit adictive actually. You can create (drag-drop) your own outfits and choose from hundrets of fashion pieces. Make a collage and also drag in other favorite items such as nailpolish or bodylotion into the collage. They pretty much have every company to choose from. And if they don't have it, you can load up your own items. It is easy and fun. A real chick site! Try it! ;-)

I simply love everything from maileg. It's a danish company that makes high quality, little toys and decorations out of fabric. My favorites are these cute little mice that come in a box that looks like a matchbox. Disney`s Ratatouille style. If you need a gift for a child, this is the perfect site!

This is a great fashion site. They have designer-clothes from A-Z and everything is very stylish and modern. What I especially like, you can also shop by look. So while you brows through the sites, you can get great inspirations for outfits. They have "The look of the month" where they display a look of a celebrity and then show you, how you can remake the look.
The only minus (for me) is: Not all, but a lot of the stuff is quite expensive! And to be honest, I rather spend my money on charity than spending 120 bugs on a simple T-Shirt. But still, this site is fun and very inspirational for anyone who loves fashion.

It's a love-hate relationship with facebook. Can't live with it, can't live without it. It's great for staying in touch with people and sharing what everybody is up to, especially if you don't have the time and muse to take care of all your friendships constantly.
What I don't like about it are the privacy issues. I don't want to become a citizen of glass and give all my information to people I don't know and who will use it themselves for what I don't know. But this is why you have to make up your mind about how you want to use a webpage like facebook. As long as you share as little information about yourself as possible (and I don't think that a post like "Having bad digesting problems today" will catch the interesst of a third party) you will be just fine and can enjoy the benefits of this site.

Great designs, new technologies, fashion, architectures, art and more. It all has the motto: "design will save the world". Great site!

I have used craigslist before but find kroobe.com way better. It's much more userfriendly, modern and you can even rate members, which is great if you are looking for a dogsitter or a handyman for example. Thumbs up for Kroobe! :)
