After booking reservations for a school trip with a dozen students hotels.com left us stranded and not only did not resolve the situation it created by making false claims in its website. We were actually insulted by the "support team" on the phone and ended up paying double the cost of our trip. The website is a scam and goes out of its way to leave you stranded. Save yourself $ and time. Call the hotel directly, tell them the rates you found on the site, and they will give you the same deal without the headaches.
