I have been a patient of Dr. Samano's medical practice and Samano Aesthetics since 2014. He changed his medical practice's model and so I was no longer able to follow him, but chose to continue as a client of the latter. My first visit to Samano Aesthetics was a positive one, and decided to return on December 2017 to take advantage of a special they were promoting online. My experience the second time was quite different from the first visit. When the results were not as anticipated, I contacted his office via Facebook in hopes of having the area of concern addressed. My concerns were acknowledged, but I didn't hear back with an appointment. A few weeks later, I contacted the office again, this time with photographs that clearly demonstrated something just wasn't right. My concerns were acknowledged, but again ignored! I was only interested in having the area of concern treated properly. Simple right? Dr. Samano's office never called with an appointment nor to check how I was doing. By now, I am not a happy camper so I contacted my credit card company and they issued a temporary refund. Dr. Samano's office still had opportunity to contact me to, at least, discuss a partial refund (if their hearts were in the right place). It appears they prefer to put boxing gloves on to fight over $600. Would it not have shown good will on their part to simply re-treat the area of concern? I would have been a satisfied client who would have continued to support their practice. Important to note here that this doctor has been contracted by the company that sells the product to train other doctors. I don't make it a habit of writing negative reviews, as people in business depend on positive feedback. I am writing this in case others are having a similar experience. "First Do No Harm" is part of the Hippocratic Oath taken by doctors who practice medicine. There are many ways to harm a patient. Is this industry becoming so competitive and cut throat that is bringing out the worst in medical professionals we are supposed to trust?
