I have had Spectrum for 18 years. It has been a constant battle to keep my bill just above too much $ continuously for all of the years stated above. My wife and i finally decided to eat crow and take the only other internet competitor (blah :() . When lord behold... Spectrum is hiring, and it is within walking distance from our house :) my wife applies and they hire her on the spot because of her educational degree. 6 weeks of training, free cable and the best insurance i have ever come across, everybody is happy :). . Right :(. incidentally, she passed up a better paying job for this one (no weekends) after a whopping 3 months they send corporate ax man to say they are closing shop out of the blue. And when questioned why? (they were swamped everyday morning till evening with customers) Spectrums answer was, they needed to focus more on their worthless mobile phone network and said they had been planning to close the store since 2017, this all happened in July of 2018. Now if this was not bad enough this criminal corporation would not shut our service off and is trying to stiff me with a 500+ bill, we have continually called to get return tickets for our equipment to no avail and want to charge me for it because i refuse to drive 50 miles away to drop it off to them.
