I live in Oregon and a progressive driver hit me. Progressive totaled my new car and I was unable to get anything close to what I had before they hit my car. I was at fault in any way and progressive wanted to give me a ton less on my vehicle. I called around and spoke with the owner, Monica. Oregon has some law where the insurance company pays for the report. I paid $500 upfront and ended up getting the $500 plus the offer Monica got me. I netted $4500 plus the appraisal fee back.
