  • Home Depot

Recently remodeled my bathroom. Ordered a new shower door and a new vanity from The Home Depot. The vanity arrived with a tiny imperfection. They offered to get me a new one or give me a big discount on the original. I took the discount and I can't even see the little dent. In addition to that, they gave me the same discount on the shower door and a new toilet. That's what I call good customer service.

My sewer line had a big hole with tree roots growing in it. Steve from The Pink Plumber located the problem area and fixed it on the spot. He was great. Steve is a knowledgeable, personable, professional. I would recommend The Pink Plumber to anyone who has a plumbing issue. Additionally, they support breast cancer awareness and research.

  • TigerDirect

TigerDirect has great customer service and a good selection of electronics at reasonable prices. No problems so far.

  • petMD

I think petMD is a reputable company, as are most, but just like the rest it is a business. Their top priority is not the wellness of your pet. It's the size of their profit margin. Since the industry discovered how much we love our pets the cost of everything pet related has gone through the roof. That's especially true with pet meds and vet visits. And I've been told that mail order pet meds are often expired.
Frankly, I find it disgraceful.

This site is easy to navigate and they have a multitude of used cars. The only real issue I have is this, the car dealerships featured on the site are not responsive. I've sent numerous inquires about cars I'm interested in, but not a single dealership has responded. I don't know if the blame lies with the site or with the dealerships.

  • Lowe's

I shop at Lowe's because it's close, but that's the only reason. Customer service there sucks. The employees are surly and unfriendly. The selection is okay, but it's impossible to find help if you need it. I'll still shop there for little things. But for bigger purchases, I'm going to The Home Depot.

  • Groupon

I get daily emails from these people. Annoying. Sometimes they have some good deals, or at least what looks like good deals. I recently ordered one of those robot vacuum cleaners at a great price. It was delivered on time and it worked just fine for about two weeks. Now it doesn't work at all. I emailed Groupon customer service and their response was to tell me that I was on my own. Maybe I should contact the manufacturer of the device. That's not what I wanted to hear.
I would say stay away from Groupon Goods.

After choosing a used car from their lot, I learned that it had no gas. Rather than putting gas in it to let me have a test drive, they pressured me to haggle about the deal. When we came to a deal that I could agree to, they still didn't put gas in the car. They insisted that I go ahead and sign the papers. The finance guy assured me that if the car wasn't satisfactory, I could return it. Stupidly, I signed the papers. I tend to trust people. My test drive was a disaster. The brakes were shot, the suspension was shot, and the transmission needed to be replaced. When I tried to return the car, I was told, "too bad, you already bought this car. We don't take cars back." The sales manager even threatened to have me arrested if I didn't leave the dealership.
Bottom line: stay away from these unethical gangsters. Given half a chance, they'll rip you off. They did it to me. I can prove it.

Tip for consumers:
The state of Georgia offers no protection to consumers who buy used cars. Only buy used cars from dealerships who offer a minimum 3-day return policy.

They have so many items that are not in stock or cannot be delivered.
When I place an order for "store pick-up" they never call to let me know when it arrives.
The only reason I ever shop the site is for lower prices. Not sure it's worth the trouble.

I've been doing business with these people for several months. Other than being slow to respond to email and slow with deliveries, they've been "ok". Recently, though, I received a non-working battery as part of an order. I followed their procedure to make them aware and request a replacement. Their response was to insult my intelligence and tell me how to operate the battery (you have to push the button). Having used these batteries for many months, I was already quite familiar with "the button". Again, I made them aware that the battery was defective and requested a replacement. Their response was no response. There have been other instances when I've received defective coils, but they're somewhat inexpensive so I never made an issue of it, I just absorbed the loss. No more!
Needless to say, I cannot recommend allkanger.com and I have already found another company to do business with.
My suggestion is to avoid allkanger and do your vape business locally or find a different online provider.
