I live in Germany where books in English can cost an arm and a leg, a friend in London told me about AwesomeBooks.com and I love it, and buy often in bulk for the whole family. I've never had a problem with shipping, but I only buy these books for leisure and don't require anything ordered to arrive immediately.
Love this company and their product. Heard about it from so many friends I decided to buy it for my daughters. There was a mistake in shipping, and customer service went above and beyond to resolve the situation and actually made me want to tell the world to check them out!
I've relied on this site for years of gift giving with only good results. Most recently I got the environmentally friendly laundry eggs, my sister and I both love them. In the past I've bought jewelry, personalized throw pillows and stationery and journals, glassware, often times I end up buying the product for myself after the recipient raves about it so much!
I bought the Boom Stick Trio for the all natural non-toxic ingredients, and the color that suits each woman's individual skin tone. It's marketed smart and I wasn't disappointed by the shipment (overseas from the US to Germany), customer service or the product itself. They do go heavy on the upsell, but it's not aggressive or problematic.
We live in Germany and I couldn't find personalized labels we liked for elementary school supplies until after lots of searching we found Brightstarkids. I was apprehensive about ordering internationally, but everything arrived as promised. I like the variety packs you can order with all the different sizes that work specifically on clothes (iron on), shoes (with a protective layer on top), and everything else. My kids love choosing their colors and personalized design.
The three articles of women's clothing I received look nothing like they appeared in the marketing. They were touted as "natural fiber/linen/cotton" but are actually super synthetic, sized completely arbitrarily, and sewed like a pillow case without darts or ruching! As soon as I got them I asked how to return merchandise, and have gotten no response via email. Lesson learned.
