I purchased an eligible item for the gift card reimbursement. Bloomingdale's purported enters it into an online account for my use. Went to my account, not there inspite of the email saying it was there. So I went to Customer Service in the Michigan Avenue, Chicago store. I showed the women there the email from Bloomingdales, could show the purchase on my credit card but they wouldn't help me as I didn't have the receipt. Said I might have returned it, said no. Honestly, I didn't have it as it was their mistake so I erroneously thought they would remedy it. There did NOTHING! Didn't even offer to look up cc to find receipt. Lazy at best. Sad choice as I won't shop there any longer and I've historically purchased furniture and rugs.
