I would avoid Chris Moran and his Shopify training. I trained with Chris for approximately 3 months. The training started good, meeting once a week for one hour. Chris is quick to cut the training off after one hour because he has another student lined up right after you. Initially there is a lot to learn and one hour a week is not much time. Approximately two months in Chris started not showing up for prearranged zoom training with no follow up as to why he was a non-show and no attempt to reschedule the meeting. Chris also stopped responding to email or text messages. For someone with his claim to be a CEO of two Fortune 500 companies its very unprofessional. During my three months I ran ad campaigns for approximately 12 products that ran for multiple weeks. During my time with Chris I spent $6K on Facebook ads, grossed approximately $1,500, and netted approximately $750. All the products you are selling are already being sold at Walmart, Amazon and Shopify, etc. Even if Chris was professional and performed as he led you to believe, I think your chances of success are slim to none just because of who you are competing against. My hunch is Chris uses students to help him research and market products at the student's expense on the rare chance a student finds a product that sells well. If a student finds a product that is an exceptional seller he can then sell that same product on his Shopify store which he plans to flip and sell. Looking back I should have asked Chris to show me Shopify stores he controls and proof of those stores success and I should have asked to speak to former successful students as references. Chris says you only need four or five products that sell well to be successful. One could spend a whole lot of money trying to find the four or five products before they began to recoup their cost. Overall I found Chris to be friendly and knowledgeable but I decided I didn't want to continue to chase him down to schedule meetings or hound him to try to get my emails questions answered for a process I thought had little chance of success. I think my experience is similar to some of the other concerns voiced. Sometime you just have to cut your losses and move on.
