Their ad says "Brandywine is dedicated to giving our customers the best product and service in the auto parts industry." That was NOT my experience at Upper Marlboro location.

I was told by Jonathan I was buying good transmission 2x—both were damaged upon arrival, car's been sitting at shop, I needed my money refunded to buy another trans. Before shop charges me for car sitting so long, was given the run-around about refund but they claim they sent it, then after being interrupted & hung up on 2 times, these guys tag-team lied on me (they said I was rude when I was trying to get my sentences out without being interrupted)!

Jason & another guy were also involved. I heard the other guy lie & say to others I wouldn't listen when they were interrupting me. I doubt they would do this to a man. Gender discrimination.

Pat/Mgr. Apologized, but as a former Mgr. I know the reason these guys were rude is because they are allowed to be rude with no repercussions. Emailed the owner to let him know why I will not do business there again. He politely apologized, though that does not make up for other represetatives' behavior causing me unnecessary stress. They acted like I had no reason to be irritated!

I believe I was ignored because I was a female. I received a call about 2 am that my young son was in an accident and car was totaled. Car was not blocking traffic so my son called our AAA to tow, but police officer forced him to use this company (Lennys) they called and had a contract with. I told the driver I wanted the car towed to my home/city, and I was ignored by both officer and tow driver I guess because I'm a black female unfamiliar with this situation. I should have been given time to think as the owner of the vehicle after confirming my son was okay. The car was on the side not blocking traffic at all. The tow driver took my car to his lot (I followed him). I was told we couldn't get son's belongings/lost keys nor tags and would have to pay $$$ first or I could sign over title for alleged "totaled car." Of course I fussed about this (and girl threatened to call police, Cody yelling because I was talking loudly as were they, the "professionals"!) because I had wanted the car to be towed to my home which would have saved me storage fees. Because this all happened right before the holidays, I couldn't retrieve the car for 7 days, total--they got off of me (tho AAA may reimburse for towing) $614. I just wanted the option to save $ and am frustrated about all that happened. But the car is ours to repair/salvage ourselves and may not be totaled after all. THANK GOD the engine/important parts weren't damaged. Son's 1st car was worth getting back! I am making formal complaints... had to get refund from the state and AAA.
