HEX is a wonderful place to spend your time, and I honestly love it. Except for two things- cliques and age discrimination.
The cliques on HEX are awful. You go into a thread and are completely ignored. It stinks. And age discrimination. If you're under 18 on this site, have fun making friends. It takes ages because adults see you as lesser here, or treat you as a pet. Not all of them sure, but many of them. In addition, there are hardly any advocates for the younger bunch of us. Sure, they released a new under-13 only forum with quite a few younger Junior Staff, but it's run by adults. And we do have a few younger HEX mentors and subforum mods, but not enough. It's frustrating. Maybe our applications are worse, but nonetheless. As a child on HEX, it is very hard to be social and make the right friends.
Other then that, I love it. Though many complain about the staff, most of the staff are genuine and amazing people. The community, for the most part, is kind and welcoming, and the site as a whole is very accepting.
