Let me start by saying that I did win $150 worth of walmart and target giftcards using less than $15 worth of bids, BUT those were beginner auctions. Orkaya sucks users in with beginner auctions, which I believe are completely legitimate. The real auctions for items like laptops, tvs, and cameras are completely FAKE.

Before I get into the specifics please note my experience with orkaya over facebook. Two users named Shayla Jax and Leah Hendricks, both commented on nearly every orkaya status saying only positive things. Neither had a profile picture and only liked 4 or 5 things on facebook. I came to the conclusion these profiles were fake and under the control of orkaya when I left a negative wall post on their facebook. The first person to reply was Leah Hendricks who gave me a long paragraph explanation that said I should continue to use the site and that it wasn't a scam. He/She said that I had won auctions before and should continue to use the site. How did this random person know that I had won auctions? I never even posted anything about it. I then replied with my suspicions regarding the legitimacy of the the two facebook profiles of Shayla Jax and Leah Hendricks. The next day they both had uploaded profile pictures of cartoons. ORKAYA IS USING FAKE FACEBOOK AND ORKAYA ACCOUNTS.

The auction that led to my skepticism was over a bid pack. Before the countdown hit 5 minutes my bids were registered immediately. However, with 5 minutes left "ruserious" continuously placed bids which registered sometimes 2 at a time. I placed 4 bids. 34.-. 37 which I was charged for. However, the auction ended at. 35 for "ruserious."

Orkaya is another shady bidding site which uses fake accounts to rip off its customers. Stay away

Beginning in early August Beezid.com started to pay people for posting their own positive reviews on the website. Those whose reviews made it to the top 3 were paid more. I foolishly participated. The comment and review above are complete fabrications. Beezid.com is a dishonest place. They use bid bots in their auctions, don't believe me a quick stop to alexa.com will reveal that a percentage of their traffic comes from India, where there workers bid on last second auctions prolonging them so Beezid makes more money (beezid also payed workers to post reviews on alexa.com) If you want to use a penny site use wavee, sellmoo, bidblink, ragingbid, orkaya. Just don't give your money to dishonest thieves, and for the record Beezid never paid me for having a top review.

I first researched this site from the reviews on this website and had observed a few auctions after a friend of mine told me about it. I was surprised that not too many people had won that were reviewing. I go for small ticket items and have spent 30 bids (various items) and won assassin's creed 2 for $4 with shipping (only 2 bidders and I used 2 bids). I'm going to finish up my bids, but I doubt I buy more bids, even though I've had a positive experience, I think I would get too addicted to this site.
- Observe some auctions before you decide to buy bids
- Go for smaller auctions (stay away from gift cards, because gift cards appeal to everyone and are bound to be desired)
-Bid at weird times (Too avoid competitors)
-Don't waste bids, observe how many people are bidding with 1 second left and wait for that number to drop to around 3 before you start bidding
-Dedicate yourself to your bids and follow through
