They realise the consumer is taking a chance buying a final sale item, and therefore, are quick, professional, and friendly in making sure the customer is happy. Should your item be defective or not perform the way you expected, they are eager to make things right with you, no questions asked. An overall feeling of safety and trustworthiness based on swappa staff members approving listings, and staying behind the scenes and not disturbing the transaction, but enhancing the supervisory feeling. A community of well meaning and behaving citizens looking for an alternative to getting ripped off, freedom of choice, and wanting this to be a success. Rather than just relying on user ratings of seller and buyer as some other sites do, swappa has that extra "big buddy" presence with their staff monitoring even private convos and making sure "everyone plays nice".
