I purchased an android media player H96 max+ 4/32 (RK3328) on 23/11/2018. The delivery was estimated on 13/12/2018. I finally received it (I went personally to the package service to collect it) on the 04/01/2019.
I was kind due to the holidays and didn't ask for a refund earlier. So stupid of me! I finally put it together and found out that the device was constantly changing the screen colors at its own will from normal to a green-yellowish output. After a while it recovers to normal. I asked a friend of mine electrician and told me that it could be a faulty connection. Changed all cables, ports on tv, nothing changed. The TV is working fine as I have two other media boxes on the same set working perfect.
After some days communicating with support of banggood, they send me a link to download a new firmware with a video instruction (in chinese?). But the firmware 800+MB was not downloading from the server that was on. It was very slow and all the time was going to error.
I mention that I could not download it and the email that I got was an offer of something like 5% discount on a new order. I refused it as the device is faulty and they should refund on the new price or replace it.
Their response was the following:
"So sorry for the issue, but we heard you say that the product can work fine. And we can not arrange a replacement for you. Would you accept to receive 800 points or a 5% coupon".
I leave the comments to you.
If you are unlucky and get something wrong. Do not expect support.
