Yelp hounded me for years to join up with their advertising program. I refused for two reasons. The year-long contract and the fact that at the end of the month I would have to pay for the amount of clicks I received whether or not it resulted in a customer. I'm not a gambler so I always refused. I didn't want to owe them any money at the end of the month in case the clicks did not turn into a customer. Then they called me with this new program, no annual contract and I could tryf*** a $300 a month limit half of which would be paid for with the introductory $150 free clicks or something. Two months later I get a bill for over $500! I lost the dispute. When I called the company and had them walk me through what they claimed I agreed to they took me to the sign-in page and showed me where I clicked on agreeing to the $450 amount ro which they added another $90 for something or other. Here's the problem I never EVER did this and I don't know who did it but I surely did not agree to this amount. I have NO memory of going to this page and signing up and I have a good memory. SO STAY AWAY. RUN if a salesperson contacts you.
