I bought a 10 Glass canton cake dome from them and the base was 11.25" which did not fit my glass bottom that is 10". Sorry, they tell me but it wouldn't do any god to send the item back as it would cost me the $24.00 + 30% stock fee so I should sell the item locally. Really? Is that any way to treat a customer. Stay with Amazon to buy glassware. They will take a return without any problems. These people are rip-off artists.

Thank you for your review, Diana. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with our standard return fees. The reason why we charge a restocking fee is to keep costs, and ultimately our prices, down for our customers. When you buy from a company that has no restocking fees, you pay for returns that the company handles, indirectly, through higher prices. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order, as well as returning an order. Most companies do build it into their initial pricing, but we try to charge it only when it is needed.
I have pulled up the Anchor Hocking 340Q 10" Glass Canton Cake Dome on our site and it does state in the spec's section that the item has a 10" top diameter, but an 11 3/4" bottom diameter. We do our best to provide all the information about a product upfront so that our customer can make an informed purchase and should not go through a return process. If you have a question about a product and it cannot be answered on the site, we are happy to look into the product to confirm if it will work for your application.
