Of course, like everyone else, I am not really a fan of the regular western union stores since they seem to be a haven for people running various underhanded schemes (i. E. scammers).

However, their website itself is very informative and provides a lot of good information for anyone considering using their service.

First, I should preface this with saying that you need to be very careful when shopping on this site. The more attractive the price, the more likely you are going to be unhappy with the result.

This site is wonderful for people who are EXPERTS in shopping for things like flashlights and DIY electronics. You can get many great deals which will save you 75% off the prices you find at radio shack, sears, etc. The problem is when you try to shop for anything else. So many knock-offs and products that are listed as rich in features but end up being much less than what was promised. So I have learned to assume only about half of the information listed for a product is true/accurate. If you go shopping with this in mind, and only buy things you are an expert about, then I think you will be happy with the result.

Actually, my review should be about their Amazon shop.

I bought an Angelsounds Fetal Doppler as a gift for my sister. The ad said it should come with a free travel bag, which is why I picked theirs over other companies that were selling at the same price. After placing the order I emailed them to ask if the bag they mentioned would be the same color as the Angelsounds unit. Their answer was that their was no free travel bag! Seems it was only available from a different seller. Oh, but no worry they say, because they will send some free gel instead. So the Fetal Doppler did arrive about 6 days later, which was alright. Haha, but guess what? No gel was included! My guess is that they offer these free incentives to try to make you pick them to buy from, but then they never send what they promise. My suggestion to my friends? Don't be tricked into buying based on any free gift, because you will never get it. Oh, and of course don't buy from this East Shore Medical as they are just scammers.

As for the Angelsounds, my sister was pretty happy with it. She is writing some blog about her experience. Wonder if I can post the link for that here in the future. Anyway, my summary is this; thumbs up to the Fetal Doppler and big thumbs down to East Shore Medical.

Prices are attractive, but the products they list as "in stock" are actually only in stock in China, which in my mind really means they are out-to-stock, yes?

Why save $3 on something if I need to wait a month to get it?

Usually very reliable. They seem to be adding many new non-computer categories via the "marketplace" style third-parties. Not sure I am a fan of this. My experience with these types is so-so at best. Seems most are Chinese based sellers who seem to exaggerate the functions and quality of their products (to put it nicely). So what if you can save 30% off on a tripod if the damn thing never works!
In regards to newegg.com themselves, they are great for any laptop or desktop computer stuff you need. I just advise being careful with the third party sellers.
