Hi, this is Denise Nisa Morales, I called just lie just after purchasing a ticket from Miami to Jacksonville Florida. I got confirmation itinerary , Literally 45 minutes tops after not even. I realized that I had booked a flight for the wrong month I called to see if I can get reimbursed for that ticket because I was going to purchase another ticket leaving on 28 January same flight , Miami to Jacksonville.
The person I spoke to was very sweet very kind very understanding, he told me that I would be charged $75 for canceling my ticket. I said I need to speak to a supervisor. He told me that he would get back to me within a few minutes talking about 3 to 4 minutes to get back to me and he said that his supervisor would only give me 50% off which means I would have to pay $37.50 for the small error. I have been purchasing tickets to just fly for years I have purchased many tickets I can't even count. And I thought it was very unfair that I was charged $37.50 for that small error because I didn't have my glasses and I could not see the month was February instead of January. And for that reason I was not totally satisfied. I had no other choice but to except the 50% charge Thank you
Looking over my initial problem I noticed there were some errors. The itinerary was emailed to me literally. 4to 5 minutes after purchasing the ticket.
From Miami Florida to Jacksonville Florida. I realized I had made a mistake with the dates.
I booked a flight for February 25, 2020. But I needed the flight for January 28, 2020. And I was charged for a cancellation fee of $37.50 50% off of the $75 which I still think was very unfair because it was literally minutes after purchasing the ticket. And as a loyal customer which I still have to order another two flights after that incident. They could've made an exception for me. THANK YOU!
