I paid for a car rental through Priceline and when I arrived at the Ft. Walton/Destin airport the Budget Rent a Car counter would not give me the car because it was a one way trip with no flight leaving out. As I was waiting 30 mins in line I noticed at least 5 people return keys into a box without any acknowledgement regarding a flight. I was stranded at the airport for at least an hour and 20 mins. I was traveling with my 11 yr old dog as and it was a warm day. DO NOT RENT THROUGH BUDGET YOU WILL END UP WITH S HEADACHE AND POTENTIALLY STRANDED. Priceline chat was helpful except they would not give me the full refund saying theres a cancellation fee of 10 dollars when I didnt cancel Budget did. Now I have to argue with budget more to get my full amount back.
