I have ordered from this site a few times now. First, when you order, be aware each vendor bills as a separate order. I've had multiple of these overall orders from multiple vendors where I don't receive the merchandise from 1 or more vendor. You then have to log a dispute and go back and forth a few times before AliExpress MAY decide to refund your money... or they may extend the shipping time period... for MONTHS. I've definitely had much better luck with merchandise vs clothing.
This last order I placed was the first for clothing, and I really should have done more research! 2 of the items I ordered came in a timely fashion and are great quality. The rest? 1 was timely but subpar quality and really did not match description. Another 2 subpar quality, don't match descriptions, wrong sizes (1 was wrong size AND wrong color).
Still awaiting delivery from 3 more vendors... orders placed End March / 1st week April... acceptable delivery range has been bumped out on all of these until mid-July!

Getting items through this site has always been kind of a 50/50 proposition. I've gotten some items I really love and a lot of poor quality junk that has little relation to what is pictured/described.
NOW, I've noticed a new trend over about the past 9 months or so that has prompted me to review... If you are lucky enough to win an auction at less than the average price that an item has been selling for, you have about a 70% chance of the Seller cancelling your order. What does Tophatter do? Why they give you a full refund... IN SITE CREDITS! I have a couple of issues with this. 1) if the seller cancels my order, that should automatically be a cash refund. 2) When it is happening this often, there is a problem with the SELLERS on Tophatter!
It's an auction site, and that is a pretty shady practice!
Example - Won an auction for $12. I've been since watching this same item sell between 25-30 dollars. I was just notified that the order is cancelled and "good news" I've been refunded with Tophatter credit! (I bet THOSE other, higher priced orders did not get cancelled and refunded!)

Shoppers also have the option to rate their delivered items.
