I purchased a stone to set in a ring I already had. When I took it to a jeweler, in its original package, he said the stone was chipped and he couldn't/wouldn't set it. I returned it and requested an equivalent replacement. They said their jewelers had determined that the ring had been set and "There's nothing we can do." How about trying fair and honest business practices?
