I was about to sign up for Medical Alert but found out that it doesn't work outside your house. So if you walk down the street and need help you're out of luck. I'm going to save my money and just get a cell phone with big buttons.

I know Link Medical Alert is supposed to be backed by GE and Intel but I found out it doesn't even work if you leave your house! So if I walk down the street and need help, it doesn't do anything. I'm going to save my money and get a cell phone instead.
