On 8/1/2021 I put in a claim for a covered item during my policy period and was told I should expect a $200 check in a few weeks.
-After waiting one month I called again to find out they now need some additional paperwork.
-I quickly send in my paperwork and wait another few weeks. Again... no check.
-I call again and was told the check is in the mail. I wait again a few weeks and still nothing. --On 11/1/2021 my policy is now up for renewal. They call me to say they can apply the $200 toward my renewal.
-I insist that I would like my $200 first before considering renewal. I was assured once again I would receive my money.
-It is now 1/3/2022, 10+ calls later and I find out they reject my claim because I did not renew.
I am now contacting the NJ Department of Insurance. I will also find as many online outlets to place a bad review as this is a horrible unfair company.
