I wish there were words to describe what this place did to me but let me just say that I am a stage 3 lung cancer patient who went to sunrise of my own choice to detox from a medication I was prescribed and had become dependent on. It was hurting my health so I wanted to stop taking it. Sunrise said they could Detox me safely in 7 days. In the first 24 hours they made a mistake and put me into precipitative withdrawal and it was torture. When I left there I THOUGHT I was detoxed but two days later I was coding in the ER and spent 6 days in icu. I was told by the doctors that what sunrise did was dangerous and unethical and that I should sue them. I asked them for a refund and they refused. When I'm done with my cancer treatments I am going to file suit because they refuse to acknowledge what they did wrong. I could have died and they didn't even offer a lung cancer patient OXYGEN. Disposable. Send your family members anywhere but here
