Have received non-stop emails and correspondence from this company who have taken over the client base of Addison James.

David, please can you clarify the nature of your concerns.

As a point of clarity, Hampton Lovett did acquire the customer portfolio of Addison James in the final quarter of 2017 and we are servicing those clients in accordance with the terms of the contract under which Addison James were initially instructed. We recognised that some clients would prefer to opt-out of the contractual relationship following the transfer, and we gave them this opportunity. Others allocated to stay with Hampton Lovett, and we are delighted to include them in our client base.
The two companies are totally separate legal entities, with no common Directors, which hopefully answers the question in the headline of your post.
There is insufficient information here to identify whether you are among our active client portfolio, and I am sorry if you have been inconvenienced by our email marketing. If you contact us direct, or message me via this site, I will arrange to have your details added to our suppression files.

Very similar to all the other reviewers on here. Promised lots delivered little.
Big upfront costs for them to appeal your business rates on your behalf, but found it very easy to negotiate with the % they take of what they save you (this should have rung alarm bells).
They were adamant that I should be paying less for a number of reasons but I have ended up having to pay more following the appeal, as the reasons they informed me that should save me money were not true.

STILL AWAITING A REFUND 2 MONTHS AFTER CANCELLING ORDER!
Ordered a ladder 19th September. I was then informed that they were out of stock until 18th October, I kept the order. 10th October I was informed that this had now moved to the 6th November so cancelled my order and informed to wait 1-2 days for refund.
6th December still awaiting a refund. This is nearly 3 months that you will have had my £250 without communication.
Note on their website that the phone number which is rarely answered is for payments only!
