After being hosed by livingsocial.com on a deal for audiogo.com I complained to the retailer directly. They could not have been nicer. They quickly made it right. They have a good website (sometimes a bit hard to navigate and a bit pokey to load however) and lots and lots of high quality audio books and other BBC radio related stuff that you won't find other places. Fast and easy downloading as well. I am a convert. Highly recommended.

Bought a deal on recorded books. This is not my first online rodeo, so I carefully looked for what the limitations were on the deal. Basically saw none of consequence. Made my first order (loved the retailer site BTW - will review separately) without incident. Went back to the retailer a few days later to find I had no credit. It was a use it all or loose it deal after all. Complained to livingsocial.com and got a boilerplate answer that essentially said, "to bad for you... Read more closely next time." I am secure enough to admit when I am wrong - and this time I was not wrong, I had done my due diligence.
I complained to the merchant, and got a fast and very satisfactory responsee.
Botom line... I am staying with the retailer (who made it right) and have discontinued/spam filtereded livingsocial.com. I suggest you do the same.

Savings, yes -- Customer Service, not so much. Although the website showed the Catchers Mitt my daughter wanted was "in stock". When later checked for shipment progress, I discovered that the mitt was back ordered. When contacted on two occasions the less than interested Customer Service reps informed me that they had no idea when the item would be shipped. They really seemed not to care and could clearly do nothing to help. Order canceled and purchased (for less) somewhere else. Avoid unless you like delays and frustration.
