  • Wilson

I have had a Wilson tennis racquet for over 30 years that is still in good shape. I bought one for my daughter, and within 6 months, the grip had broken apart at the base. It was a defective grip, and we submitted a claim with pictures and the receipt. They quickly accepted the claim and gave us credit for the cost of a new racquet. Although we weren't thrilled with the defect, we were very happy with the quick warranty coverage and that Wilson stands by their products.

They've improved their website. It's pretty easy to navigate and view or order publications. Their retirement estimate calculator is very helpful. However it takes 5 days to get a response to an email request for assistance, and that's not acceptable. Otherwise, it's a good site.

  • Kaiser Permanente

This website hasn't had any substantial improvements in years. It's really outdated. One example of this is the messaging center. Instead of the obvious format of all emails in one area, you have to select which area to view emails. So, you can't read emails from your doctor in the same screen as emails from customer service or pharmacy, etc. This makes it arduous to try to read emails or look at sent emails.

The process to get prescriptions is also archaic and time consuming, requiring way to many screens and key presses. It often doesn't show past prescriptions so you have to track down old bottles to copy the information down.

They really need to bring the interface to modern standards.

It's fairly easy to navigate, but more and more I'm finding that there are better prices elsewhere. With the influx of private sellers, it's becoming more like ebay, where prices are all over the place and it's easy to overpay.

  • CheapOair

This is my second and last reservation with cheapo air. The first time I used them I did not get any savings whatsoever than if I had just gone directly through the airline. The second time I made a mistake by one day on my arrival time and tried to go back and contact them to see if I could change the date by one day, so I could make a cruise that I was trying to attempt. They wanted to charge me a $300 penalty fee plus whatever the difference in fare was. I ended up going directly to the airline itself and was able to resolve it. I tried to get a supervisor through CheapOair and it took about an hour to get that. They wasted my entire evening and did nothing for me. I will never use them again. A friend of mine correctly asked me: what did you expect using a company called CheapOair? Good point. Done.

  • Nike

5/10/19

I purchased some Nike Tennis Shoes for my daughter and within two months, they had developed a hole in the toe area. This was from normal use while playing tennis. Obviously, any quality shoe should not develop a hole in them after only two months of normal use, so we filed a warranty claim with Nike. We had to spend $16 dollars shipping from the Bay Area in Northern California to the warranty address at Nike, which was the cheapest cost available (and unreasonably high).
I received a quick rejection to my claim, stating this was normal wear and tear. They left no way for me to respond to them. I faxed two letters successfully to their Corporate Office and didn't receive the courtesy of a reply. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Nike refused again to attempt to satisfy us as customers.

We are now all done with Nike in this family, since they do not stand by the quality of their product.

  • FreeShipping

5/10/19

The process is intentionally and unnecessarily difficult to implement as a customer, and the process is misleading. Their website says to simply click on the links of the sellers and the shipping will be waived. However, that is not what occurs. The shipping is charged to the customer, and then they have to go through the arduous process of copying receipts and submitting claims to get the reimbursement. That is not reasonable for someone to have to go through on every order they place, and I believe this is done intentionally to dissuade people from making the claims. When I contacted them about this, they just canceled my account and didn't address my concerns. I would have canceled anyway. They also don't publish their physical or mailing address on their website, which is always a red flag.

  • Weather Underground

I have had 3 Samsung phones and the widget from Weather Underground has never worked on any of those phones. I have reported the issue dozens of times to their support and they do nothing about it, if they respond at all. It's amazing how long this has been going on and how they have done nothing to address it.

  • Evite

2/16/19

I was unable to process a simple evite. It wouldn't let me proceed to the next screen and didn't give me any explanation as to why. Just a red bar. Wasted a bunch of time setting up an event just to not have it work. Not going to use them again.

This company also goes by MelodicDay. It's a fraudulent enterprise. I ordered an item from them and they never sent it. I received bogus responses that what I ordered was in high demand and delayed. This went on for weeks until I filed a complaint with PayPal. Suddenly a package with tracking number was sent. Upon arrival it was completely the wrong item. They had their tracking number, however, so PayPal refused to take further action. They never responded to me again. I filed a complaint with IC3 dot gov since they are based in China. There is no recourse to customers as a result of their location. All we can do it try to get their website shut down for fraud.

20 dollars for a site map and 40 dollars service charge is ridiculous.
