DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY VENDOR OR CUSTOMER BE WARNED - This isn't a Chairish issue as such, but more a vendor who sells on their site Mission Avenue Studio. My wife and I provided cleaning services at the showroom location which the owner refuses to pay for services rendered. The business owes me for past due to invoices for services at the warehouse location, 1337 Manhattan Ave and the main cleaning service at the showroom 1530 Dolphin Ave. The two invoices total $539 from February and March 2018 - I have gone into both business locations and called multiple times and spoke with the office manager, Samantha. Who continued to tell me that the business was waiting for checks to arrive and that the owner, Bernabe Somoza was aware of the monies owed. To no avail, I decided to find the owners telephone number and called him directly on his cell phone *******592) He said he would have a check for me on 4/13/2018 - when I called him on that date he stated "He could not pay me due to all his accounts and assets being frozen" and that "if I step on his property anymore he would have me arrested, and deported..." because I am "just an immigrant" - not that it matters to the situation at hand but, this is false as I am now an America citizen. However, the threats prove what kind of businessman Bernabe Somoza is. He has no intention of paying me what is owed, and as you can see from other complaints this is a regular occurrence. I have spoken to other vendors, contractors etc. who have done work for the business in the past and have experienced the same issues! I plan on letting every chain of review online know the about the business and its shady practices!
