I live in Canada and my brother lives in the US.
I thought it would be easier to order a Christmas gift basket from the US as it would make for easier delivery.
I found the fromyouflowers website and ordered a premium snack basket.
I later find out that they were not able to fulfil my order as it was sold out (which was not previousy updated on the website)
When I called to make alternate arrangements for another basket, they tried to sell me a flower arrangement instead. As this was not acceptable, they promised me a full refund.
After indicating to the customer service rep that I wanted a 100% refund which included the proper exchange rate, they advised me that I would indeed get the full refund.
Not to my surprise, I received a refund, less about $13 CAD because the exchange rate from US to CAD funds was less.
Now I have to call a fight to get that back. What a mess
