“Difficult for local drivers to rent”

I've dealt with the los angeles inglewood location. They require local renters in California to have "transferrable insurance" which I think has no relevance on car rental or provides any more liability than what you can purchase through them. I think they are just trying to hinder local drivers from renting. So if you are a local driver, I would recommend not waste my time renting from them. I have dealt with Hertz and they are much easier company to rent from and in my opinion, no hassle renting.
