I constantly get calls for another person that never owned my phone number. I am the sole owner of this phone number for 22 years since the number was released by the carrier for first use. I know this because I was the one who set the phone number up when I worked for the carrier 22 years ago. I get bill collection calls, home service calls, etc to my phone number 22 years later after owning the number asking for someone that never owned this number.
I decide to trace my number along with the name of the person they are actually looking for. The sole provider of my number along with this persons name is listed on advancedbackgroundchecks.com and nowhere else. It is the only site that has this persons name and my phone number associated that I can find anywhere on the internet.
After emailing and calling multiple times, I am told by there staff that there is nothing they can do to remove it. While on the phone they give detailed instructions on how to unlist a number. THIS DOESN'T WORK. You go through the steps and there is NO option for removing any type of listing as detailed in their instructions. The DATA on this website is clearly not vetted for accuracy. When you ask for them to update a record with the correct info they tell you they can't. When they explain how to remove a listing this also CAN'T be done.
For those that are interested you can call advancedbackgroundchecks.com at *******392
Also, there removal service is www.advancedbackgroundchecks.com/manage/ (doesn't work but at least you can verify that for yourself)
