I was shopping for a Canadian company to purchase a laptop and accessories from, sinceit was going to BC, and I didn't want to mess with the shipping from the States. I immediately recognized that their website was not very functional... I would enter a search for a specific item, and often just a few came up. When I searched under different parameters, it would triple the results. Oh well... finally found what I wanted, and proceeded to checkout. LISTEN... I am an experienced web buyer (about 4 purchases a week from stores, large and small) however negotiating this site drove me CRAZY... and took THREE HOURS. When it seemed that all the info was correct (it kept changing my billing address to the shipping address, and I repeatedly changed the info, from scratch, a dozen times), it finally went through PayPal... and then SHOWED THE INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS. They had my name, and a Canadian address! I IMMEDIATELY emailed them per their form... and never heard a word. THEN, today, I receive a SHIPPING CONFIRMATION... with the incorrect name going to the correct address. The shipping was split into Canada Post, and UPS, and the accessories had been shipped via Canada Post, so the name probably wont affect anything. But the COMPUTER was sent UPS, SIGNATURE REQUIRED, and I knew that the person I was buying it for would not be home, so they would need to show ID to UPS. I CALLED IMMEDIATELY... 2 HOURS before "closing time", and spent 15 minutes, then 10 minutes, and then 15 minutes again listening to music, before a message came on about leaving MY PHONE NUMBER and they would call back. No problem, right? WRONG! The phone number they played back to have me confirm WAS NOT MY NUMBER... so when it said to imput the correct number if it was wrong, I did so... a 10 digit number as asked for... and the recording not only repeated it in error again, it played back at 78 speed... I couldn't even understand it. It then said, "Hang up." WHAT? So I went to their contact page, and chose CHAT (as recommended in the email if there were "ANY PROBLEMS." Guess what? I input all the info, only to find out that the CHAT WASN'T EVEN ACTIVE. This company is supposedly "highly recommended"... and I can't even contact them to tell them that my order is incorrect, and undeliverable... BECAUSE OF THEM. This is SURREAL... I have to pinch myself. WHAT?

Please note this; I am not a "complainer", and being a former corporate operations manager who makes at least 3 purchases on-line every week, I have a pretty good handle on how things work.

I ordered 3 WeatherTech items (shipping was $9 cheaper via CARid than the Weathertech site!) and my card shows it was charged that day. I then get an email asking me to call customer service, since I had just moved, and my CC info (home address) as different than the shipping address. I appreciate the fact that they were cautious, however it was explained during the first call. Two days later, I get another email, so I call again, and am assured that everything is straight. Then, I get ANOTHER email, and by this time I am frustrated! Once more, I am assured that shipping would happen on 5/10 (the initial order was placed and paid for on 5/3) I wait until 5/12, with no tracking number as promised... so I CALL AGAIN. After 15 minutes on hold, they come back and ask me if I intended to order light wind deflectors for the front windows, and dark ones for the rear. YES... and why hadn't they called ME if they had a question. I was AGAIN assured that I would have a tracking # within "24 hrs"... which I didn't, but received 2 the day after... identical emails, with one hitting my inbox, and the other my junk mail. GUESS WHAT? The front deflectors and the rear deflectors were shipped SEPARATELY from 2 different warehouses (I can see some valid reasons for that), BUT THE MAIN ITEM, the windshield sun shade, did not ship! It is NOW OVER 2 WEEKS since my order was placed, and I have no idea if, or when, the sun shade is coming. They seem professional, CSR's included... but what the heck happened... and why isn't someone on their end more concerned? Next time, I'll simply pay WeatherTechs RIP OFF SHIPPING PRICE of $24 for a TWO POUND PACKAGE, and forget about it. I am a reputable eBay seller with PERFECT seller's ratings and feedbacks... I'm not just complaining or picking on them. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
