I write this as someone who had a bone to pick. The details of my quarrel with an individual are not relevant, as I was restored and am very pleased to be. My account was disabled for several weeks, the "case" reviewed, and now I'm on again. I don't intend to overpost or get in stupid quarrels with hot-headed and thin-skinned individuals. Keep a civil tone in your posts and replies, don't "over-post" (as this can look like the work of an inflated ego) and don't be potty-mouthed. From my own perspective I've resolved not to be overly allusive, esoteric, or withering in my responses.
Anyone who HAS been disabled should be aware to use nextdoor support--you can Google it and email and from my experience you will get a response. I don't claim that this is a universal thing--individual results may vary.
But I will say that it is an excellent site for the kind of site that it is.
My initial review of the site was very favorable, but I've since seen how little attention they pay to obvious document dumps, where there will be no activity for days or even a week, and then voila, thirty or seventy glowing but maddeningly non-specific puff pieces come in. The only site where I've witnessed this is Nextdoor. I've tried three times to bring it to Sitejabber's attention. No effect, no reply Also, my comments on these raves vanish almost instantly. This is not how I'd go about protecting my chief asset.
The worst search engine except for all the others. Compare to Bing and be SO grateful Google got dominant first.
Almost never took me where I wanted to go. I've used it only for sites it's gotten me to in the past (chiefly Google) and even then I've been experiencing frequent computer freezes. Coincidence? Maybe, but I try to remember not to take the easy route these days.
Try it for whatever interests you the most in life, in the world of Things. Cars, artwork. Best feature is quick save of most things you see on the internet so you have instant photofile.
My SOLE complaint, they do send you suggested pins you might like every day, but I often find something there that I DO like. I find it invaluable, and have only some thousand images on my "boards" so far. A really deep-end artist could spend days seeking and finding inspiration. And, no, i do not own stock, am not an employee or agent--just use it and LIKE it.

“Thank you for the information. I had the same exact scenario and have been disabled, yet the instigator stays. I am currently working to get reinstated”
