I was a member for several years. I tried to join a group regarding the Revolutionary War. I was basically told that I didn't have to know how.
I asked the administrators a simple question about accessing a page to view my ancestors back 25 generations. I received a nasty response to go to the G2G page.
I asked a question about how to delete my account and have my personal information removed.
These idiots deleted my account and blocked me but didn't remove my profile.
Shut these idiots down!

I placed an order for delivery for Saturday, July 29 between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
For over a year Kroger kept posting on their website that the driver will contact you when they arrive. But Kroger customer service representatives, supervisors and corporate office personnel kept telling me that it's not their policy. But they ignored my question why they had it on their website.
I have to keep going back and forth in my apartment building looking for the delivery truck.
This morning about 15 minutes to 6:00 I thought I heard a truck pulling into the complex. I opened the front door of the building and thought I heard an engine running. But it was dark outside and I didn't know if I heard the air conditioners of the other residents. Turned out the driver turned off every light on the truck. Normally I could see the flashers and the lights on the corners of the box.
Since it had just rained and I was in my stocking feet I ran up the two flights of stairs and slipped on my shoes.
At the same time my doorbell rang. I immediately went down the stairs. As soon as I reached the second flight I saw my groceries laying on the filthy sidewalk. I asked the driver why he dumped my groceries on the ground.
He rudely responded that he had the RIGHT to leave the groceries on the ground if I didn't answer the door.
He either put the bags on the ground right before or immediately after ringing the doorbell. He was too lazy and incompetent to wait 10-15 seconds for me to get to the door.
Also he was 10 minutes before the scheduled delivery window.
He had no intention to be professional and hand me the bags.
He needs to be terminated.

I ordered on Thursday. Friday I received an email from UPS saying it would be delivered on Sunday. Saturday I received an email saying that due to severe weather it would be delivered Monday. Sunday I received an email saying it would be delivered Wednesday.
Monday I received an email saying that USPS would complete the delivery and that the package left the UPS Ypsilanti location at 4:49 AM Monday.
Tuesday I checked the USPS website and it said the package was received by USPS at 7:03 AM on Tuesday.
I was concerned about why it took 26 hours to travel about 3 miles. When I contacted UPS they wouldn't even talk to me and hung up the phone.
When I contacted your customer service representative, she made a lame excuse saying the delay may have been due to the weather. She was not the least bit concerned about my package taking 26 hours to go 3 miles.
When we opened the box on Friday there was an odd smell and the fudge was extremely soggy. The box was dry. But I am very concerned about what happened to the fudge during the 26 hours it was on the UPS truck.
My friends had never tried Frankenmuth Fudge but will never try it.
I know the 26 hours aren't your fault. But the total lack of concern by your customer service representative is unacceptable.
Your lame excuse defending UPS taking 26 hours to deliver the package about 3 miles is unacceptable.
One person from your customer service admitted that you should have been more concerned about the issues.
The only resolution is a refund. The fudge smelled terrible and was soaking wet. Your attitude is appalling!

After I was hospitalized in December, 2013 I was put on a Spend Down with Medicaid even though I didn't qualify. I would be sent the bills. Every month I would send the bills and the money. Medicaid would then pay the rest of the bill.
I told MDHHS that I didn't qualify, nor would I be able to pay the Spend Down anyway. I was told not to worry because the bills wouldn't be paid.
After not receiving any bills I called MDHHS. I was told that St Joe's graciously paid the Spend Down on my behalf. They paid about $2000 so they could get the $25,000- $30,000 that Medicaid would cover of the $125,000 owed. Hospitals accept about 25- 30% as full payment.
Sometime in March, 2014 I was told that I had been placed on full coverage after my second time in the hospital during late January- the middle of February.
It took me until the end of June to finally get the Medicaid canceled.

When I went to the UM Hospital in August, 2016 I was told that someone from Financial Services was going to help me with the Medicaid application. I was told that "Alexis knows how to work the system." When I told Alexis that I would fill out the application when I got home. Instead she filled out the application without my knowledge or permission. She also broke the law because she didn't state that she was filing a third party application. I wasn't even given the username and password to view the application. As soon as I received the letter stating that an application had been filed, I called MDHHS and told them that I didn't file and that is was filed by a third party without my knowledge or permission. The application was canceled. I was told that I would be put on the UM Foundation for uninsured patients.
Two months later another application was filed, but was also canceled. A month later I was informed that the application had been reactivated and I had been approved, even though I don't qualify.
I was able to get the providers to not bill Medicaid as I wasn't eligible.
I was scheduled for cataract surgeries in May and June, 2017. A few days before the first surgery the Billing Office called to say that unless I paid cash or allowed the hospital to bill Medicaid, the surgeries would be canceled. When I told them that I wasn't eligible for Medicaid and could be criminally charged, I was told "We're willing to take that chance." I was told the same thing by MDHHS. Everybody is willing to put me at risk of criminal charges, since they won't be charged.

Health Care providers need to be made to follow the laws when filling applications. They also need to stop circumventing the laws to get paid. They break the laws because they want to be paid. That's understandable to want to be paid. But they break the law and put the patient in danger of criminal prosecution without any regards

Over the last few years AARP has continued to send me information claiming that I expressed interest in joining them. I have never expressed interest in them. They keep telling me it will take a few weeks to stop the mailings. They have been telling me that for almost a year!
They're spending money to mail the information that I don't want!
